Ari Kleiman

I work as Patient Health Librarian at the UCSF Patient Health Library at the UCSF Medical Center at Mount Zion.

I hold a BA from the University of Delaware, in foreign language and literature (Spanish, French, Japanese, German, Italian) and linguistics.

From 1999-2002 I took 33 units of biology and chemistry following the undergraduate biology curriculum at San Francisco State University (including calculus and physics courses taken at U of D, I have completed about 70% of the requirements for a biology major).

In December 2006, I completed a Masters in Library and Information Science at San Jose State University's School of Library and Information Science. My final project was a portfolio to "demonstrate competence in each of the core areas for professional librarians."
